Florence I. Barton
MOUNT VERNON — Florence Irene Barton, 94, of Gambier Road, Mount Vernon, died Friday, Sept. 24, 2004, at the Ohio Eastern Star Home at Mount Vernon. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home.

R. Jeanette Boling
MOUNT VERNON — Rita Jeanette Boling of Vernonview Drive, Mount Vernon, passed away on Monday, Sept. 20, 2004, at Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon.

She was born on June 22, 1942, in Ansted, W.Va., to John and Marjorie (Skaggs) Boling.

Beloved sister of Patrick (Diane) Boling of Westerville, Jerry (Patricia) Boling of Prattville, Ala., and Trudy (Joseph) McDonough of Mount Vernon; aunt of Jeffrey (Beth) Boling, Kimberly (Rob) DeMooy, Amy (Brett) Duke, Christine (Kevin) Cash, Lori (Craig) Wilson and Tim (Brandi Rinehart) McDonough; and 12 great-nieces and great-nephews. She will be greatly missed by her special family, the staff and caregivers of the Mount Vernon Developmental Center.

Her parents preceded her in death.

The funeral was this morning at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dennis Hill officiating. Burial followed in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.

Donald L. Buchanan
MOUNT GILEAD — Donald L. Buchanan, 68, of Westview Drive, Mount Gilead, died Thursday, Sept. 23, 2004, in Bennington Glen in Marengo.

He was born April 1, 1936, in Chesterville, the son of Dwight and Genevieve (Canterbury) Buchanan. He graduated from Edison High School in 1954 and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954-1958 during the Korean conflict.

He is survived by two daughters, Melissa (Andy) Hershey of Fredericktown and Susan (David) Hinton of Grove City; a son, Mike (Kendra) Buchanan of Arthur, Ill.; eight grandchildren; and four brothers, Keith E. Buchanan of Mount Gilead, Max O. (Linda) Buchanan and Larry A. (Rosemary) Buchanan, both of Mansfield, and Gary Buchanan of Columbus.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, David G. Buchanan.

Friends may call today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Craven Funeral Home in Mount Gilead, where funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. Pastor Joe Blevins will officiate. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Chesterville. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.snyderfuneralhomes.com.

Frances C. Fox
WARSAW — Frances Cornelia Fox, 80, of County Road 25, Warsaw, died peacefully Sept. 22, 2004, at her residence.

She was born April 9, 1924, in Coshocton to George and Lorena Stipe. She was a member of the Clark Township Baptist Church and the Coshocton Country Farm Bureau.

She is survived by two sons, Richard (Pat) Fox Puyallup, Wash., and Michael R. (Lu Ann) Fox of Coshocton; a sister, Grace (George) Hamilton of Coshocton; five grandchildren, Dina (Bill) Carnes of Puyallup, Wash., Jay (Robin) Fox of Orting, Wash., Lee (Brenda) Fox of Penn, Fla., and Heath and Kristen Fox of Coshocton; five grandchildren; and a stepgreat-grandson.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jay E. Fox, whom she married April 22, 1946, he died June 15, 1984. She was also preceded in death by a brother, George Arthur; an infant sister; and a sister-in-law, Erma Fox.

Funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor David Dodridge officiating. Burial will be in Blissfield Cemetery. Visitation is today from 6 to 8 p.m. and until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Clark Township Baptist Church.
