MOUNT VERNON — Marcia Lane Litrico, 82, formerly of Rocky River, passed away Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004, in Mount Vernon.
Beloved mother of Dennis E. (Lynne) Lane of Wisconsin, Kenneth E. (Michele) Lane and Linda (Cliff) Hartford-Davis of Mount Vernon; grandmother of Jeffrey (Tricia) Hartford, Carrie Hartford, Suzanne Lane, Alan Lane, Cindy (Chris) Monger and Joy (Brian) Geib; and great-grandmother of Kayla Hartford, Kaylen Wilkins, Sara Geib and Natalie Geib.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Litrico; grandson, Douglas Lane; daughter-in-law, Kim Lane; and numerous siblings.
Memorial service will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted. Arrangements by Dostal Funeral Service, North Olmsted, www.dostalfuneralservices.com.

Floyd R. Snoke
LANCASTER — Floyd R. Snoke, 90 years, 11 months and 17 days, of Lancaster died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2004, at his residence.
He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church and was the retired owner of Floyd Snoke and Son Garage. He was a retired U.S. Postal rural route carrier, Santa Claus and fisherman.
He is survived by his sons, the Rev. F. Richard Snoke of St. Luke Church in Danville and Francis Gene Snoke of Lancaster; daughters, Maryln (Leland) Dupler of Lancaster, Mary Ann Snoke of Columbus and Melissa (Russell) Skinner of Como, Colo.; stepson, Ernest (Sue) Shephard of Columbus; grandchildren, Butch and John Snoke, Aaron and Rusty Skinner, and Mike and Brian Shepherd; six great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Snoke of Lancaster; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathyrn L. (Ackers) Snoke; second wife, Levada “Pat” Snoke; son, Charles Kenneth Snoke; parents, Charles and Orpha (Cole) Snoke; and brothers, Earl, Charles Jr. and Harold Snoke.
Friends may visit today from 5 to 9 p.m. at Sheridan Funeral Home, 222 S. Columbus St., Lancaster. Vigil service will be held today at 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 132 S. High St., Lancaster, with the Rev. F. Richard Snoke as celebrant and other diocesan priests as con-celebrants. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.

Sherry St. John
MOUNT VERNON — Sherry Lynn St. John, 40, of 2 Kenyon St., Mount Vernon, died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2004, at her residence.
She was born Feb. 4, 1964, in Columbus to Harry and Ruth (Cline) Estep.
She is survived by her father, Harry Estep; her fiancé, Keith Norrick; a son Todd Christopher Hempfield; one granddaughter, Emma Marie Hempfield; three sisters, Sheila Graham, Sonya Keyes and Shelly (Jeremy) Talbott; two stepbrothers, Paul and Duane Fraley; a stepsister, Kimberly Bell; a niece, Christi; and nephews, Billie, Kyle and J.D.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Funeral will be Saturday at 5 p.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Pastor Ben McKinstry will officiate. Calling hours will be Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. Burial will follow cremation at a later date.
Carroll Throckmorton
SPARTA — Carroll S. Throckmorton, 79, of Sparta died suddenly Thursday morning, Oct. 28, 2004, at St. Ann’s Hospital.
He was born at his current family homestead farm in Sparta on June 25, 1925, to Verner and Hallie (VanSickle) Throckmorton.
Survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Jane “Cook” Throckmorton; grandchildren, Edmund Throckmorton of Ames, Iowa, and Brooke Throckmorton of Peoria, Ill.; sister, Geraldine (Jean) DeJarnett of Venice, Fla.; nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Edwin A. Throckmorton; brothers, Kenneth, Francis and Verner Jr.; sister, Marjorie Lemon; and infant twin sister and brother, Maria and Morris Throckmorton.
Friends may call Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Sparta United Methodist Church, 22 N. Church St., Sparta, where services will follow Saturday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Larry Carnes officiating. Interment with military honors provided by the Marengo American Legion Post 710 will follow in Bloomfield Cemetery near Sparta. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Marengo.
