MOUNT VERNON — Grace M. Boggs, 82, of Mount Vernon died Thursday, Nov. 18,
204, at the Ohio Eastern Star Home, Mount Vernon.
Grace was born Dec. 11, 1921, in Gambier to Clarence and Eleanor (Kells) Reams. She and her husband, Harry, were former residents of Abbeville, Ala., and Grace was retired from Plastico Paint Co. in Medina. She was a member of the First Church of God in Fredericktown.
Her sister, Mabel Lamb of Mount Vernon; her special friends and caregivers for the past six years, Cathy and Mike Tier; and nieces and nephews survive her.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Frazier and Alberta Petee.
The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, where friends may call two hours before the service. The Rev. Richard Prater will officiate. Graveside service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Abbeville Memorial Cemetery East in Abbeville, Ala.

Mary Jane Hall
NEWARK — Mary Jane (Deyo) Hall, 77, of Newark passed away Tuesday, Nov.
16, 2004, at 8:29 p.m. at Licking Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 22, 1927, in Mount Sterling to James E. and Ordabell (Cox) Deyo. She married Joseph Vernon Hall on Aug. 14, 1948, and celebrated 56 years of life together. She was born during the generation where a mother’s place was in the home, taking care of her husband and raising her children. Mary was involved with various support groups connected to her husband’s work as the city engineer of Newark and Mount Vernon, as well as the many groups of her children as they were growing up.
In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by her children, James E. (Dianne) Hall of Fredericktown, and their children, Grant of Dublin and Erin of Xenia; Joseph V. (Kimberly) Hall II of Newark, and their children, David of Newark and Nathan of Thornville; Judy (Ted) Williams of Newark, and their children, Jennifer, Tyler and Tim, all of Newark; and Mike (Kathy) Hall of Florence S.C., and their son, Adam of Florence. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Evelyn (Floyd, deceased) Deyo and family of Centerburg and Ruth (Kenneth, deceased) Hall and Evelyn (Bernard) Oberfield, both of Newark.
A Mass of Christian Burial was this morning at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, with the Rev. Timothy Hays officiating. Interment followed in St. Joseph Cemetery at Newark.
