Diane R. Moore
MOUNT VERNON — Diane R. Moore, 55, of Hickory Street, Mount Vernon, died
Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, at the Knox Community Hospital following an illness
of several months.
She was born Feb. 17, 1949, in Mount Vernon, the daughter of Wilbur and Olive (Butler) Pelton and had been a lifetime resident of Knox County. She had been employed by Heartland Home Health Care Services as a home health care aide. Diane was a 1970 graduate of Riverview High School and had been a member of the Women of the Moose.
She is survived by her son, Raymond Mizer of Mount Vernon; five sisters, Martha (James) Groves of New Guilford, Joan Mizer of Warsaw, Mollie Perkins of Coshocton, and Marilyn Ruhl and Christine Sullivan, both of Mount Vernon; two brothers, Fred (Marlys) Pelton of Keene and Steven (Joyce) Pelton of Mount Vernon; and her longtime companion, Gary Neff of Mount Vernon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Norman and David Pelton; and a nephew, Robbie Kirk.
