Fern L. Crago
MOUNT VERNON — Fern L. Crago, 86, of Mount Vernon died May 16, 2005, at her residence.

She was born Dec. 8, 1918, in Mount Vernon to George and Donna (Shellenbarger) Donaldson.

She is survived by her husband, Donald E. Crago, to whom she had been married 62 years; two sons, Ronald E. (Joan) Crago of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Gail (Connie) Crago of Fredericktown; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers, Walter, Earl, Dwight and Lawrence Donaldson.

Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the North-Dilley Funeral Home. A graveside service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jamie Gump officiating.

Memorial contributions may `be made to Hospice of Knox County, 302 E. High St., Mount Vernon, OH 43050.

Parker J. Gibson
COSHOCTON — Parker John Gibson, infant son of Marcie and Randy Gibson of 20201 County Road 6, Coshocton, died Saturday, May 14, 2005, at Akron Children’s Hospital.

A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. in Franklin Cemetery. Pastor Larry Armentrout will officiate. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon in the Fischer Funeral Home, Warsaw.

Julia Malanowski
HOWARD — Julia Jean Malanowski, 78, of Howard was ushered into the arms of her Heavenly Father on Sunday, May 15, 2005, at the UPMC Horizon Hospital in Greenville, Pa.

She was born Sept. 17, 1926, in Riley, Ind., to Roy S. and Mabel K. (Butts) Campbell. Julia was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mount Vernon. She was also a member of the Radnor Grange in Radnor, the Alum Creek Lioness Club, the Apple Core at Apple Valley and the Sunshine Circle at the church. As a minister’s wife, Julia supported her husband in his work serving churches in Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. She worked as a secretary for Sears and Roebuck in Chicago, TerraHaute Heavy, Rex Humbard Ministries and Ranco in Delaware.

Julia is survived by a son, the Rev. Steven (Tammy) Malanowski of Transfer, Pa.; a daughter, Lynn Rose (John) Washatka of Apple Valley; and six grandchildren; Nathan, Naomi and Jonathan Washatka and Craig, Chris and Curtis Malanowski.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Malanowski.

Friends may call Wednesday, May 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, where the Rev. Steven Malanowski will conduct a funeral service Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.

Molly L. Stine
FREDERICKTOWN — Molly L. Stine, 69, of Waterford Road, Fredericktown, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2005, at her residence.

She was born April 22, 1936, in Frazeysburg to Kenneth B. and Nettie (Roberts) Moore. Molly had a love for fishing, craftwork and for going to yard sales.

She is survived by her loving husband, William “Bill” Stine, whom she married Nov. 3, 1956; a son, Mike (Marjorie Higgins) Stine of Fredericktown; two daughters, Kimberly Nelson of Mount Vernon and Kathy (Marty) Chitwood of Westerville; four grandchildren, Ruben Nelson, Brooke Nelson, Joshua Chitwood and Jon Michael Chitwood; a brother, William (Karen) Moore of Riverview, Fla.; and a sister, Marjorie (Howard) Wilson of Blue Rock.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Moore and Kenneth “Bud” Moore; and four sisters, Patricia Ann Moore, Donna Jean Moore, Faye Ellis and Maybelle Stutes.

Friends may call today from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Snyder Funeral Home, Fredericktown, where a funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Forest Cemetery, Fredericktown.
