Nicholas Butera
COLUMBUS — Nicholas Butera, 66, died at Kobacher House on Friday Sept. 30, 2005, at 11:40 a.m.

Nicholas was a kind and gentle spirit always helping others. Beloved by his friends and co-workers. He was a super salesman for United Insurance.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rose and John Butera; father-in-law, Bud Francis; and fishing buddies, Smitty, Bob Marvin, Bob Fisher, McKinley.

Surviving are his loving wife, Sharon; mother-in-law, Mick; children and stepchildren, Nicky, Mike, Mitch, Lisa and Tony; spouses Michelle, Candyce, Vanessa; brother, John; sisters-in-law, Bonnie, Barb, Sandi and Carolyn; brothers-in-law, Richard, Ted and Jon; grandchildren, Tyler, Carlye, Mindy, Mike, McKenzie and Mason; 15 nieces; 14 nephews; 13 great-nieces; and 14 great-nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 7, from 5 to 8 p.m., and on Saturday, Oct. 8, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Schoedinger North Chapel, 5554 Karl Road. Service will be performed by Deacon Jim Rouse on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Schoedinger North Chapel.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Sanctuary, 302 S. Market St., Danville, OH 43014.

Dustin M. Christ Jr.
COLUMBUS — Dustin Michael Christ Jr., newborn infant, died Oct. 3, 2005, at St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville.

He is survived by his parents, Dustin Michael Christ Sr. and Robin Dale Williams of Columbus; maternal grandmother, Barbara Williams of Mount Vernon; paternal grandparents, Michael and Jean Christ of Gahanna; maternal aunt, Tobey Huggins of Mount Vernon; maternal uncle, Robert Williams of Oceanside, Calif.; and paternal aunt, Lindsey Christ of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Lewis Williams; and paternal grandfather, Stanley Nelson.

A private graveside service will be conducted in Eastview Cemetery at Centerburg, with Major Larry and Andrea See officiating. The North-Dilley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Edna S. Eisma
BLADENSBURG — Edna S. Eisma, 86, of Bladensburg died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005, at Autumn Health Care.

She was born on Jan. 9, 1919, in Richland, Iowa, to Matthias and Luanna (Gross) Greiner. She was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church.

She is survived by her son, William (Linda) Eisma of Gambier; two daughters, Mary Wood of Poulsbo, Wash., and Barbara (Larry) Smith of Tinton Falls, N.J.; three grandchildren, Michelle Stewart and Mark (Andrea) Eisma, both of Columbus, and Maria (Jim) Nussbaum of Mount Vernon; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harold (Dorothy) and Francis (Judy) Greiner, both of Sogourney, Iowa; two sisters-in-law, Ellen Eisma of Seattle, Wash., and Lies Endel of Amsterdam, Netherlands; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerard W. Eisma (May 28, 2005); a son-in-law, G.D. Wood; and two brothers-in-law, John and Henry Eisma.

There will be no calling hours. The family will observe private services. The Harris-Dilley Funeral Home of Bladensburg assisted the family with the arrangements.

Genevieve D. Hunt
CENTERBURG — Genevieve Dollison (Corbin) Hunt, 94, died Monday, Oct. 3, 2005.

Born in Columbus, she was a graduate of North High School and Ohio State University. She taught commercial subjects in high schools in Sunbury and Gratiot. She also taught at Franklin University. After her marriage in 1948, she taught a variety of subjects at Centerburg High School, where she also served as a school librarian. She enjoyed gardening and travel. Following her retirement, she lived in Columbus for many years and resided more recently in Cincinnati and Centerburg.

She is survived by a daughter, Anna Jane (Hunt) Horton, and 12-year-old grandson, William Warren Horton, both of St. Louis, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Seymour and Daisy Dell (Dollison) Corbin; and by her husband of 35 years, Warren Calvin Hunt.

The funeral will be Friday, Oct. 7, at 11 a.m. at the Weir Arend Funeral Home, 4221 N. High St., Columbus, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Private interment will be in Union Cemetery. The Rev. Gary Pollock will officiate.
