Mary Adelsberger
DANVILLE — Mary Alice Adelsberger, 83, of Tilton Street, Danville, died Friday, Oct. 21, 2005, at Knox Community Hospital.

She was born March 9, 1922, in Danville to the late Bernard L. and Donna (Shultz) Hammond. On Oct. 4, 1947, she was married to Thomas J. Adelsberger. She was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church and the PCCW in Danville.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas; a son, Lundy (Kay) Adelsberger of Howard; two grandchildren, Ryan Adelsberger of Columbus and Dawn Bernard of New Hampshire; and three great-granddaughters, Aireanna Adelsberger, and Hannah and Sarah Bernard.

A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 11 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church. The Rev. F. Richard Snoke will officiate. Burial will be in St. Luke Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville, where there will be a prayer service at 8 p.m.

Pearl E. Hines
MOUNT VERNON — Pearl E. Hines, 77, of Mitchell Drive, Mount Vernon, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005, at her residence.

She was born Aug. 21, 1928, in Iron Mountain, Mich., to John and Olive (White) Sperling. Mrs. Hines had worked as a school bus driver.

She is survived by a son, Robert D. Hines Jr. of Mount Vernon; and a brother, Robert (Nellie) Sperling of Warren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert D. Hines Sr.

There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 1 p.m. in Mound View Cemetery. These arrangements are under the care and direction of the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home.

Aleta B. Michel
MOUNT VERNON — Aleta Belle Michel, 84, died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005, at the Knox Community Hospital, Mount Vernon.

She was born July 2, 1921, in Mount Vernon to Alfred and Iva (Myers) Hall.

She is survived by a son, Franklin (Terry) Dexter of Amanda; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Franklin Ralph Dexter; and her second husband, J. Paul Michel.

There will be no services.
