Rolland H. Garrabrant
SUNBURY — Rolland H. Garrabrant, 67, of Sunbury passed away at home Wednesday
morning, Dec. 14, 2005.
He was born on Jan. 29, 1938, in Delaware County, the son of the late Stanley P. and Myrtle M. (Kean) Garrabrant. He was a U.S. Army veteran and lived the majority of his life in Harlem Township. He was employed at Tech Rubber in Johnstown, retiring as supervisor of the press room for second shift.
He dearly loved and is survived by his devoted wife of 38 years, Ruby (Forest), daughter, Mary Beth (James) Nunley, son, Chad (Liz) Garrabrant, all of Sunbury; and grandchildren, in addition to one expected, James Jr., Joshua, Christopher and Elizabeth.
Friends may call Friday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 3 at Ohio 61, Sunbury, where services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m., with the Revs. George Collins and Pauline Smith officiating. Interment will be in Fancher Cemetery.

Bernard L. Shirley
ST. LOUISVILLE — A funeral service for Bernard L. Shirley, 66, of St. Louisville,
will be held Saturday, Dec. 17, at 10 a.m. at Brucker & Kishler Funeral Home,
985 N. 21st St., with the Rev. Keith Sjostrand officiating. Burial will follow
in Newark Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Shirley passed away Dec. 14, 2005, at his residence. He was born Dec. 12, 1939, in Newark to the late George T. Shirley, and Vera Beulah (Kislingberry) Shirley. He was a Utica High School graduate. He was a member of the Christian Apostolic Church. Mr. Shirley retired after 30 years from the Joint Vocational School as a custodian. Mr. Shirley was in charge of the water department in St. Louisville for many years. He was a reservist in the U.S. Marines for six years. He enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his stepdaughters, Harvette “Cookie” (Terry) Collins of Thornville, Donna Jean (David) Alexander of Utica and Peggy Marie (Jack) Wolfe of Mount Vernon; a stepson, Michael L. (Jacki) Frey of Utica; three brothers, R. Gene (Judy) Shirley of Keswick, Va., James A. (Bonnie) Shirley of Tioga, La., and George E. (Marsha) Shirley of Newark; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his loving wife, Blanche Mae (Paliette) Frey Shirley, Mr. Shirley was preceded in death by his father; and one sister, Anne L. Cornwell.

Nell L. Stone
CENTERBURG — Nell L. Stone, 83, of Centerburg passed away early Wednesday
morning, Dec. 14, 2005, at St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville.
Born on April 16, 1922, in Columbus, she was the daughter of the late Samuel L. and Grace M. (Cavender) Brassfield. The homemaker had been a member of the Order of Eastern Star and attended the Centerburg Church of Christ. Her greatest enjoyment in life was caring for her family and friends.
Nell is survived by sons, Arthur E. Stone Jr. and Samuel “Sam” (Libby) Stone of Centerburg; daughter, Grace (Douglas) Heitz of Westerville; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur E. Stone Jr., on March 31, 1989.
Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 3 at Ohio 61, Sunbury. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Northlawn Memory Gardens in Westerville. Minister Roger Crego will officiate.

Randal L. Wilson Sr.
MOUNT VERNON — Randal Lee Wilson Sr., 42, of Mount Vernon, formerly of Sandusky,
died Monday evening, Dec. 12, 2005, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 18, 1963, in Sandusky. He was a painter and certified reflexologist, and was studying herbology. He was a member of the Sons of AMVETS in Mount Vernon.
He is survived by his wife, Jody; father, Robert (Rita) Wilson; mother, Sandra Ferrara; children, Kayra Wilson, Elizabeth Wilson, Fawna Wilson, Jessica Green, Randal Wilson Jr., Nathan Green and Brandon Green; several grandchildren; sisters, Michelle Wilson, Regina Wilson, Lori Wilson, Gaye Wilson and LeAnn Dahs; brothers, Scott Wilson, John Duncan and Jim Duncan; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Friends may call Friday, Dec. 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. No services will be conducted.
