James ‘Jim’ McKenzie
SUNBURY — James E. “Jim” McKenzie, 48, of Sunbury died unexpectedly early Friday morning, Dec. 16, 2005, at St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville.

A graduate of Big Walnut High School Class of 1975, he was born in Delaware on Jan. 3, 1957, and was a lifelong area resident.

He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Brenda (Jackey); sons, Jeremy and Jason; parents, Marion and Ilene (Wampler) McKenzie; brother, Dan (Shellie) McKenzie; parents-in-law, Melvin and Virginia Jackey of Sunbury; brother-in-law, Randy (Sally) Jackey of Centerburg; and nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 3 at Ohio 61, Sunbury, where services will be held Monday at 1 p.m., with Mike Bratten Sr., minister, officiating. Interment will follow in Sunbury Memorial Park.

Dean A. White
MOUNT VERNON — Dean Allen White, 36, of 306 W. Pleasant St., Mount Vernon, passed away Dec. 14, 2005, in Amity.

He was born Nov. 5, 1969, in Columbus to Delbert Frilby and Carrie Sue White. He attended Northridge High School and was a brick mason for many years, recently becoming self-employed. He enjoyed hunting, standing around a fire, and spending time with daughters, Ashley and Miranda White and close friends.

He is survived by Tami Geog, loving friend and mother of his children, Ashley and Miranda White and Luke Goudy of Danville. He is also survived by another child, Jordon White of Johnstown; niece, Kayla; nephew, Dalton White; loving and sincere sister, Donna White of Newark, and sister, Kelly White of Johnstown; dear friends, Jim, Patty Bill, Kenny and family, Glen and family, Bob and family, and Eva, Stan, Gabe and family. Dean had many other friends that will miss him dearly also.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Leonard A. White, Everett Busch and Macie Busch.

Family and friends may call Monday, Dec. 19, at 9 a.m. at Crouse, Kauber, Sammons Funeral Home, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, where funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Green Hill Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in the name of daughters, Ashley and Miranda White, in care of Tami Geog.
