Sidney C. Bell
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Sidney Calvin Bell, 80, of Adeline Street, Daytona
Beach, Fla., since 1965, died Dec. 27, 2005, at University Center West, De Land,
Fla.
Mr. Bell was born in Utica to Ernest and Florence (Mason) Bell. He was a handyman and enjoyed his year-round garden in Florida.
Survivors include three sons, Roger of Florida, Henry of Mount Vernon, and Glen of Texas; a daughter, Mary Jo Bell of Tennessee; a sister, Betty Rusk of Newark; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, Mr. Bell was predeceased by two sisters and one brother.
Private family service will be conducted at a later date. Cardwell & Maloney of Port Orange, Fla., is in charge of arrangements.

Phyllis Sparks
SUNBURY — Phyllis Sparks, 67, of Sunbury passed away Tuesday evening, Dec.
27, 2005, at her home.
She was born in Logan County on May 18, 1938, to the late Glen and Delores (McClure) Johnson. On Feb. 18, 1976, Phyllis married her husband of over 25 years, James H. Sparks, who preceded her in death on Aug. 8, 2001.
She is survived by her brother and best friend, Glen “Wayne” (Aileen) Johnston of Westerville; sisters, Mary Ann (George) Freeman of Sunbury, Deana (Juan) Dolendo of Delaware and Debbie Watts of Sunbury; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a stepson and stepdaughter; eight stepgrandchildren; and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Phyllis was also preceded in death by her son, Steve Johnson, on Jan. 3, 1997.
Friends may call on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 3 at Ohio 61, Sunbury, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. Pastors Wayne Booth and J.R. Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunbury Memorial Park.

Sue Posnansky
MOUNT VERNON — Sandra “Sue” (Kerr) Posnansky, 60, of Mount Vernon
died Dec. 28, 2005, at her residence.
She was born July 23, 1945, in Mount Vernon to Ben and Myriam (Corwin) Kerr. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the Mount Vernon Lions Club.
She is survived by a son, Ben (Amy) Kerr of Walhonding; her mother of Mount Vernon; two grandchildren, Austin and Brooke Kerr; a brother, Charles (Anita) Kerr of Howard; sister, Gayle Keller of Mount Vernon; three nieces, Mitzi and Nicki Keller and Lori Ann Kerr; a great-niece, Caroline Behinke; nephew, Steven Kerr; and a longtime friend, John Jones of Walhonding.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the North-Dilley Funeral Home, where a rosary service will follow at 8 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Ted Thomas as celebrant. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
