Kathleen M. Cotton
DANVILLE — Kathleen Marcelle Cotton, 85, of Danville-Amity Road, Danville,
died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005, at the Ohio Eastern Star Home at Mount Vernon.
She was born March 19, 1920, in Calais, France, to Charles R. and Ada Eve (Bradshaw) Peel. On July 18, 1943, she was married to Gilbert G. Cotton Jr. He preceded her in death on Aug. 15, 1994.
She is survived by two daughters, Gillian Eve Pisula of Las Vegas, Nev., and Joanna (Harold) Mickley of Danville; seven grandchildren, Jeri (Rick) Hunley, Jo Creech, James Childers, John Pisula, Perry (Stacie) Mickley, Lisa (Dean) Jackson and Brenda Mickley; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a sister, Doreen Flowers of Columbus.
A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced. The Fischer Funeral Home in Danville is handling arrangements.

James F. McFarland
NELLIE — James Foster McFarland, 86, of Main St., Nellie, died Dec. 29,
2005, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 21, 1919, in Walhonding to the late Charles and Nettie (Foster) McFarland. He was a heavy equipment operator for the W.P. McCarren Co. He was a member of the Nellie Chapel United Methodist Church, served on the Nellie Village Council for 45 years, was a member of the original River View Community Park Board, a member of the Mohawk Valley Grange, and served as a trustee for the Walhonding Valley Fire District.
He is survived by his wife, Margie W. (Fry) McFarland, whom he married Feb. 5, 1950. Also surviving are three daughters, Rita Joy Reeb of Nellie, Rhonda Lee (Steven) Todd of Milton, Tenn., and Rhoda Sue (Max K.) Crown of Coshocton; a son, Randy Dale (Peggy Sue) McFarland of Nellie; a sister-in-law, E. Lenore Straus of Mount Vernon; grandchildren, Bryan (Joanna) Reeb, Darrin Reeb, Julie McFarland, Courtney Crown, Danielle Crown, James Todd and Megan Todd.
He was preceded in death by his brother, John Junior McFarland.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastors Dan Johnson and Ivan Ford officiating. Burial will be in the Darling Run Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday until service time.
