Walter Keen
FREDERICKTOWN — Walter Keen, 39, of Fredericktown died unexpectedly early Friday morning, Feb. 17, 2006, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Delaware County.

Dewey J. Wilfong
MARTINSBURG — Dewey J. Wilfong, 80, of Martinsburg died Feb. 16, 2006, at the Knox Community Hospital.

He was born May 20, 1925, in Davis, W.Va., to David J. and Marybelle (Ratsford) Wilfong. He was a member of the Northside Church of Christ, and was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army. He was also a member of the VFW Post 4027 and Utica Sertoma Club; and the Eagles Lodge in Newark and Heath. He retired in 1975 from the Pittsburgh Plate Glass after serving 30 years. Later, he was employed at Kenyon College for 15 years during the winter, and during the summer months at the Utica Swimming Pool for 21 years.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene N. (Jones) Wilfong, to whom he had been married 59 years; one daughter, Naomi (Paul) Robinson of Mount Vernon; two sons, Dewey R. (Rhonda) Wilfong of Newark and James L. (Jana) Wilfong of Martinsburg; nine grandchildren, Bobbi (Jason) Maleszewski, Angela Lintz, Haylee Robinson, Brian Wilfong, Brock (Valerie) Wilfong, Derek Wilfong, and Jayme, Jennifer, Jillian Wilfong; a special friend, Katy Wilfong; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Ocie Whisner, Mamie Dice and Ruth Parson; three brothers: Lester, David and Roy Lee Wilfong.

Friends may call Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the North-Dilley Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be Sunday 2 p.m. with Mr. Bruce Hissong and Mr. Frank Austin officiating. Burial will be in Martinsburg Cemetery. A military service with honors will be conducted by the Knox County Joint Veterans Council.
