Harry R. Ridgeway
FREDERICKTOWN — Harry R. “Dick” Ridgeway, 76, of Fredericktown
passed away suddenly early Wednesday morning, Feb. 8, 2006, at Riverside Hospital
in Columbus. In body he was an incredible man, son, husband, father, brother and
friend. Now in spirit he still is.
He was born May 24, 1929, in Columbus to Vernon J. and Alma F. (Wiggins) Ridgeway. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict, he worked as a commercial artist for Bigham Graphics.
He is survived by a daughter, Kim (Michael) De La Quinto of Surprise, Ariz.; son, Harry R. Ridgeway III of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and a brother, Robert Ridgway and family of Helmet, Calif.
He was also was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lois Jean (Gillilan), on July 27, 2005; and his little buddy, Tramps, in 2005.
Services were held for his family with inurnment at Maple Grove Cemetery near Chesterville. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home in Sunbury.
