Alberta Arnholt
LOUDONVILLE — Alberta Arnholt, 87, of North Spring Street, Loudonville, died Monday, April 17, 2006, in MetroHealth Medical Center, Cleveland, following a short illness.

She was born Dec. 11, 1918, in Perrysville, the daughter of the late Hollis R. and Margaret E. (Crawford) Hitchcock. She attended school in Perrysville before moving to Loudonville following her marriage to the late Ross Willard Arnholt. She worked as a homemaker and was very involved with the Loudonville Church of the Nazarene. She was a member of the church for more than 65 years, where she taught Sunday school for 42 years, being selected as Sunday School Teacher of the Year in 1985. Mrs. Arnholt also was a Bible school teacher as well as serving as a representative for District Assembly and Missionary Convention Meetings. She also served as a member of the Loudonville Church Women’s Association and the Loudonville Council of Churches.

She is survived by two sons, Larry (Priscilla) Arnholt of Greer and Ronald Arnholt of Lancaster; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Raymond C. Arnholt; a daughter, Laura A. Brown; two grandsons, Allen and Matthew Arnholt; a granddaughter, Priscilla E. Arnholt; two brothers; and one sister.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 22, at 10:30 a.m. in the Loudonville Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Jack Miller officiating. Burial will be in Loudonville Cemetery. Friends may call at the church Saturday from 9 to 10:30 a.m., prior to the services.

Rhonda N. McFadden
FREDERICKTOWN — Rhonda Nadine McFadden, 50, died Saturday, April 15, 2006.

She was born Feb. 8, 1956, in Mansfield to Ashford and Nelfie (Hammonds) McFadden.

She is survived by her mother, Nelfie; children, Trudy, Jason and Stephanie McFadden, and Cameron Ferenbaugh; grandchildren, Breanna McFadden, Devon and Dawn Howland, and Ashton Ferenbaugh; and brothers and sisters, Tonya Goudy, Steve and Rick McFadden, and Sharon Elliott.

Funeral services are pending with the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. The family requests donations be made in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 515, Danville, OH 43014, to help with expenses.

Dorothy L. Strawn
CENTERBURG — Dorothy L. Strawn, 83, of Centerburg died April 18, 2006, at home.

She was a member of Eastern Star for 60 years and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by daughters, Linda (Terry) Mossbarger of Delaware, Diane (Keith) Kintner of Sunbury, Cathy (Jerry) Hess of Centerburg and Sue Rice of Swansboro, N.C.; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Margaret Beardsley of Mount Vernon, Mary Jo Strawn of Marengo and Betty Freter of Dallas, Texas; nephew, Gary (Barbara) Beardsley of Centerburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Strawn.

Friends may call today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Johnson-Melick-Moreland Funeral Home, 49 W. Church St., Centerburg, where service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. Fred Albrecht, evangelist, will officiate. Interment will be in Eastview Cemetery.
