Claude E. Alexander
FREDERICKTOWN — Claude E. Alexander, 93, of Fredericktown, formerly of Ventura,
Calif., and Springfield, Ohio, passed away Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 12, 2006,
at the Morrow Manor Nursing Home in Chesterville.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon.
Rex A. Elliott
HOWARD — Rex Allen Elliott, 47, died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006, at the OSU
Medical Center.
He was born June 6, 1959, to James and Helen (Lesley) Elliott. He loved living out West and was proud of working on the oil rigs. He loved, and lived to see his boys grow up. He enjoyed watching football, especially the Minnesota Vikings, and Western movies. Most of all, he loved the Lord and reading the Bible with his longtime friend and brother in Christ, Dave; and fellowshipping with his brothers and sisters at the Millwood Church of Christ.
He is survived by his father, Jim (and special friend Nellie); three sons, Eric Elliott, Aaron (Carrie) Elliott and Jason (Tonya) Elliott; a brother, Max Elliott; grandchildren, Cody, Anna, Ben and Gavin Elliott; a sister-in-law, Jenny Elliott; nephews, Kane and Luke Elliott; a niece, Hollie Elliott; and his former wife, Janet Michaels.
He was preceded in death by his mother; a brother, Monty Elliott; and grandparents, Hollie and Mary Elliott.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, Sept. 16, at 11 a.m. at the Millwood Church of Christ. Ministers Dave Jones and Gene Lilly will officiate. Calling hours will be Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time. Interment will be at a later date.

M. Lill Price
SUNBURY — M. Lill Price, 66, of Sunbury died Wednesday morning, Sept. 13,
2006, at St. Ann’s Hospital.
She was born on Aug. 30, 1940, in Rockcastle, Ky., to the late Cecil and Ethel (Head) Leece. A 35-year resident of Sunbury, she had worked as a patient care provider at several area nursing homes.
She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Greg (Michele) Hubbert of Sunbury; stepson, Bert (Carolyn) Price of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; stepdaughter, Carla Michael of Springfield; several grandchildren; brothers, Eugene (Sissy) Leece, Billy Joe (Linda) Leece and Jim (Needy) Leece; sister, Brenda Hawk; and a host of care providers at Countryview. The family appreciates their devotion and loving care.
Preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Buddy R. Price; and brother, Fred Leece.
Friends may call Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 3 at Ohio 61, Sunbury, where services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m., with Pastor Larry Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in Trenton Cemetery.

Clifford Sierer Jr.
MOUNT VERNON — Clifford J. Sierer Jr., 75, of Vernonview Drive, Mount Vernon,
passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006, at his home.
He was born on May 17, 1931, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Clifford and Marie (Eisel) Sierer. Cliff was employed as the plant manager at Ohio Printing where he was a member of the Printer’s Union, owned and managed several Jimmy’s Pizza shops in the Columbus area, and was a member of the Hiawatha Men’s Golf Association. Cliff raced sports cars where he won numerous titles and still enjoyed racing by being an avid NASCAR Fan.
He is survived by his son, Troy (Leah) Sierer of Bexley, Ohio; four grandchildren, Andrew Hall, Nicole Hall, Holly Huntzinger and Madelyn Sierer.
Cliff was preceded in death by his wife, Grete A. (Augustine) Sierer, in 2004.
Friends may call on Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. where a prayer service will follow at 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church beginning at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Father Mark J. Hammond officiating. Entombment will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

CARDINGTON — Albert Eugene “Big Pete” Walton III, 46, of Cardington
died unexpectedly with his son from injuries received in a automobile accident
early Monday morning, Sept. 11, 2006, on Ohio 61 southeast of Cardington.
He was born on Feb. 4, 1960, in Fairbanks, Alaska, to the late Albert E. Walton Jr. and Anita P. (Jennings) Walton-Springstun.
Most proud of his son, Albert Eugene “Little Pete” Walton IV, who accompanied him in death, he is survived by his wife, Sylvia (Wilson) Walton; siblings, Connie (Mike) Robson, Judy Roby, Patti Campbell, Gerry (Dottie) Shook and John (Tammy) Springstun; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his son and parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Susan Gasper.

CARDINGTON — Albert Eugene “Little Pete” Walton IV, 17, of Cardington
died unexpectedly along with his father, from injuries received in a automobile
accident early Monday morning, Sept. 11, 2006, on Ohio 61 southeast of Cardington.
He was born on Nov. 22, 1988, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Albert Eugene Walton III
and Sylvia (Wilson) Walton.
In addition to his mother, he is also survived by maternal grandmother, Rose Wilson; aunts and uncles, Connie Robson, Judy Roby, Patti Campbell, Gerry Shook, John Springstun, Sherry Hall and Norma Williams; and numerous cousins and friends, including good friend, Korey Levings.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Albert E. Walton Jr. and Anita Pearl (Jennings) Walton Springstun.
