MANSFIELD — Former Mount Vernon resident Carol Sue Brewer Annett, 60, of South Diamond Street, Mansfield, died Monday morning, Oct. 30, 2006, in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital following a long illness.
She was born Dec. 26, 1945, in Middletown to Glen B. and Beatrice (George) Brewer, and was graduated from Fredericktown High School in 1965.
She is survived by her mother, Beatrice Brewer of Mansfield; brother and sister-in-law, Ron (Patti) George of Jackson, Calif.; sister, Melonie Annett of Green Camp; sister and brother-in-law, Tonya (Kelly) Worner of Mansfield; brother, Kenneth Brewer of Mansfield; brother and sister-in-law, Boyd (Laurie) Brewer of Mansfield; several nieces and nephews; and a large extended family.
Carol Sue was preceded in death by her father in 1978; by a sister, Cathy Brewer, in 2003; a nephew, Scott; and maternal and paternal grandparents.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Nov. 2, from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Snyder Funeral Home, 2553 Lexington Ave., Mansfield, where the funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Pastor Frank Moore will officiate. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.

Monna F. Florence
DANVILLE — Monna F. Florence, 82, died Monday, Oct. 30, 2006, at the Whispering Hills Care Center in Mount Vernon.
She was born June 4, 1924, in Walhonding to Floyd T. and Doris (Rodehaver) Workman. Monna worked at Children’s Hospital in Columbus for several years. She moved to the Washington, D.C., area and worked for American Chemical until she retired in 1986. She returned to Danville to be with family and friends. She was a member of the Danville Church of Christ and the Ladies Aid. She loved day trips as an active member of the Traveling Companion Group.
She is survived by her sister, Shirley (Art) Brownell, a brother-in-law, Robert Tucker, and a sister-in-law, JoAnn Workman, all of Danville; and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her twin sister, Donna Tucker; and her brother, Edwin Workman.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, Nov. 2, at 11 a.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Minister Craig Mulpas will officiate. Burial will be in Workman Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ellen MacLean
HOWARD — Ellen MacLean quietly passed away at the home of her daughter on Oct. 28, 2006.
She was born in Mansfield on Sept. 25, 1923, to Herbert Kline and Ethel (Hall) Kline. She graduated from the Ohio School of Business and after her marriage, moved with her husband, Robert, to Wellsville. She established the MacLean Insurance Co. and became very active in civic and political affairs. A member of the Chamber of Commerce, she worked diligently for the betterment of her adopted home and was instrumental in founding the Civic Arts Club.
After extensive travels she settled in the Knox County area and was a member of the first Regional Planning Commission and served on the Knox County Fair Board. She was a field auditor for the Ohio Laborer’s Council and retired in 1987. After spending two years at home and completing her lifelong work on the family genealogy she became a nurse’s aide at the Centerburg Care Center from which she retired in 1992.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, in 1971; and a brother, Jack Kline of Lexington.
Surviving are a brother, William Kline, and a sister, Marlene Marquis of Mansfield; three daughters, Linden Blosser (Larry) of Apple Valley, Chris Price of Fredericktown and Cheryl Streska (Vit), also of Apple Valley; and seven grandchildren, Matthew, Robert Steven, (Blosser) Jason (Shumate), Kellie (Stone), Jared and Courtney (Price).
A private graveside service will be held in Wellsville at Springhill Cemetery. The arrangements are under the care and direction of the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home.

Tammi LeeAnn Wolfe
MOUNT VERNON — Tammi LeeAnn Wolfe, 37, of Shirley Avenue, Mount Vernon, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006, at Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon.
She was born on May 13, 1969, in Knox County to Nelson Eddy Wolfe and Judy (Ray) King Hollar. She was a 1987 graduate of Mount Vernon High School.
She is survived by her mother; a son, Travis Neil Hollar; a daughter, Samantha Nichole Hollar; a brother, Mark Tracy Wolfe of Mount Vernon; and a sister, Laura Jo Horn of Mount Vernon.
She was preceded in death by her father.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 5 p.m. at the Grove Church of Christ. The Rev. Ray Linn will officiate. The family will observe a private burial at a later date. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
