Wava L. Barnett
WESTERVILLE — Wava L. Barnett, 87, of Westerville died Nov. 29, 2006, at The Laurels of Mount Vernon.

She was born Jan. 26, 1919, in Zanesville to Rollin Eugene and Lydia Bell (Downing) Barnett.

She is survived by her husband, Don H. Barnett, to whom she had been married for 66 years; two sons, David (Claudette) Barnett of Estero, Fla., and Rollin (Kathy) Barnett of Tacoma, Wash.; a daughter, Donna (Denny) Harstine of Bladensburg; a sister, Jean Walker of California; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

At her request there will be no calling hours or services. The North-Dilley Funeral Home of Mount Vernon assisted the family with the arrangements.

Martha A. Beckholt
GAMBIER — Martha A. Beckholt, 80, of Center Street, Gambier, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006, at Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon.

She was born Nov. 22, 1926, in Mount Vernon to William and Mary (Keasling) Wallace. She retired in 1989 after 30 years of employment with Kenyon College. She was a member of the Grove Church of Christ.

She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, George Beckholt; a son, Larry (Sandy) Beckholt of Mount Vernon; a daughter, Linda Boggs of Mount Vernon; three grandchildren, Brian Boggs, Dawn Beltz and Heath Beckholt; four great-grandchildren, Andrew, Brianna, Garret and Corey; and a sister, Betty Davidson of Gambier.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Huff; and her son-in-law, Robert Boggs.

Friends may call today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. Pastor Roger Doty will officiate. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.

Dorothea M. George
MOUNT VERNON — Dorothea M. George, 85, of Mount Vernon died Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, at the Country Court Nursing Center in Mount Vernon.

Dorothea was born April 14, 1921, in Mount Vernon to Robert C. and Idia (Kessler) George and was a 1939 graduate of Mount Vernon High School. For over 30 years she was employed at French and Company in New York City, and then moved back to Mount Vernon in the early 1970s and worked for Robert Andorfer Investments. Dorothea had been a member of the Mount Vernon Business and Professional Women’s Association.

Surviving are her loving companion, Don Clutter of Mount Vernon; her sister-in-law, Jean George of Mount Vernon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her parents; and three brothers, Robert R. George, C.W. “Jack” George and Lester George, preceded her in death.

Beulah F. Morey
MOUNT VERNON — Beulah F. Morey, 87, of Mount Vernon passed away this morning, Dec. 1, 2006, at MedCentral Hospital in Mansfield. The North-Dilley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

MOUNT VERNON — Nedra Still, 66, of Yauger Road, Mount Vernon, passed away Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006, at her home. The arrangements are under the care and direction of the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home.

FREDERICKTOWN — Dorothy H. Wiggins, 84, of Fredericktown passed away Friday, Dec. 1, 2006, at The Laurels of Mount Vernon. The arrangements are under the care and direction of the Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown.
