Tom Grubaugh
KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Tom Grubaugh, 71, of Kalamazoo, Mich.,
died Dec. 14, 2006, at his home after a long illness.
He was born in Knox County to the late Tom and Gladys Grubaugh and graduated in 1953 from Fredericktown High School, where he was very active in sports.
He is survived by his wife, Marceille (Smith); three daughters, Lisa of Oregon, and Linda and Julie of Kalamazoo, Mich.; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Martha Nugent and Mable (Bill) Morton of Mount Vernon and Leona (Donald) Huggins of Fredericktown; brother, John Robert (Beverly) Grubaugh; and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate Tom’s life. Condolences may be sent to Marceille Grubaugh and Family, 3020 Old Farm Road, Kalamazoo, MI 49004.
Clarence McKee
MANSFIELD — Clarence McKee, 74, of Mansfield passed away
Dec. 12, 2006, at the Mansfield Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
He was born Feb. 1, 1932, to Thomas and Audrey McKee. He was a retired employee of Schmidt Security. He also did painting and drywall subcontractor construction work.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Little McKee; four sons, Daniel (Sissy) Skelton, Eddie (Sally) Skelton, Michael Skelton and Jimmy Skelton; two daughters, Bonnie (Jim) Harding and Linda Wooldridge; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; 12 brothers and sisters, Jim McKee, Bob McKee, Wayne McKee, Rick McKee, Don McKee, Carl McKee, Lois Reamsnider, Ellen McClain, Carolyn Hallman, Marilyn Keyes, Nancy Hogbre and Linda McKenzie.
Clarence was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Walter McKee; and sister, Susie McKee.
Friends may be received Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Werner Funeral Services, 175 W. Third St., Mansfield. Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor William Lamb officiating. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery, Gambier.
Warren Moser
LIMA — Warren Moser, 81, of Lima, formerly of Mount Vernon,
died 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2006, in the Lima Manor Nursing Home following
an extended illness.
He was born in the Bronx, New York City, on April 17, 1925, and went on to become a registered professional engineer in Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemarie; a son, Thomas; two grandchildren; and three brothers, Robert, Ralph and Ronald Moser.
Memorial service will be conducted on his birthday, April 17, 2007, in Spencerville. There will be no visitation at this time.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville.
Doris E. Shuff
MARBLEHEAD — Doris E. Shuff, 87, of Marblehead and formerly
of Mount Vernon, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2006, at H.B. Magruder Memorial Hospital
in Port Clinton.
She was born Sept. 27, 1919, in Mount Vernon, the daughter of Christopher and Mary (Ridenaur) Baldwin. Mrs. Shuff was employed in the Knox County recorder’s office and then was deputy treasurer for Knox County for 30 years.
Surviving are her son, Charles (Marty) Shuff of Marblehead; daughter, Elaine (Sidney) Dowd Jr. of North Canton; grandchildren, Donna Peyton, Christopher Shuff, Charles William Shuff, Patricia Dowd Schmitz and Sidney Dowd III; great-grandchildren, Corinne Shuff, Devon Shuff, Samantha Schmitz, Raymond Paul Schmitz, Sidney Dowd IV, Emma Dowd and Makayla Peyton; brother, Charles Baldwin of Mount Vernon; and sisters, Anna Bartlett of Fredericktown and Edith Thompson of Howard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter A., on March 27, 2003; her parents; and a sister, Mary Frances Ray.
Visitation will be conducted Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services at 2 p.m. at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home, Mount Vernon. Burial will follow in Brandon Cemetery.

Grace Smith
CHESTERVILLE — Grace Smith, 81, formerly of Marengo, died
Thursday morning, Dec. 14, 2006, at Morrow Manor in Chesterville.
She was born Aug. 17, 1925, in Thornville to Andrew and Mary (Dutton) Foster. She was a retired waitress for the Mills Cafeteria in Columbus and had lived in the Marengo area for 20 years coming from Columbus.
She is survived by daughters, Debra (Brian) Lawrence of Waldo and Mary (Mike) Sheline of Arizona; son-in-law, Rick Clark Sr. of Marengo; grandchildren, Rita (Jason) Webb, Rick (Pam) Clark Jr. and Dusty Wood; and great-grandchildren, Terry Webb, Ashlynn Webb, Hope Clark and Shane Wood.
In addition to her parents she was preceded by four brothers and one sister.
Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 73 W. Walnut St., Marengo, where the service will follow at 4 p.m. Pastor Paul Staton will officiate. Graveside committal service will be Monday at 1 p.m. in the Marengo Cemetery.

85, of Bellville died early Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006, at Country Court Nursing
