Charlotte Moore
JOHNSTOWN — Charlotte Moore, 102, formerly of Columbus and Mount Vernon, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, at the Northview Senior Living Center in Johnstown.

She was born Dec. 17, 1904, in Scioto County to the late George and Mary Louise (Egbert) Widdig. Charlotte survived a tragic accident in 1912 with the help and care of family and doctors from the former St. Clair Hospital in Columbus. She graduated in March of 1929 with a bachelor’s degree in education from The Ohio State University where she was a member of the Delta Zeta Sorority. Charlotte taught school in Raymond, Ohio, and in the Columbus City Schools. She was a 50-year member of the Ohio Eastern Star Groveport Chapter 440 and the Oakwood Methodist Church in Columbus.

She is survived by her loving family, two daughters, Patricia (Leroy) Moore of Johnstown and Donna (Herb) Kisker of Carroll; eight grandchildren, Robert Patrick (Tina) Moore, Jerri Lynn Moore, William Scott (Karen) Moore, Bryan (Sheilah) Moore, Jason (Vicki) Moore, Sherri (Jamie) Ball, Shelly (Jay) Ries and Matthew (Ally) Kisker; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Reese Scott Moore; a son, Robert W. Moore; three brothers, Albert, William and George Widdig Jr.; and a sister, Clara Wolfe.

A funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home, 201 Newark Road, Mount Vernon, OH 43050, where friends may call one hour prior. Burial will be in Glen Rest Cemetery in Reynoldsburg.

Megan Ridenour
HOWARD — Megan Brianna Ridenour, infant daughter of Ron and Erin (Stumbo) Ridenour of Howard, passed away in her sleep on Monday, Jan. 1, 2007.

She was born on Sept. 19, 2006, in Mount Vernon.

Megan is survived by her maternal grandmother, Carol Stumbo of Mount Vernon; paternal grandparents, Don (Theresa) Ridenour of Mount Vernon; an aunt, Tami (Seth) Mills; and two uncles, David and Steve Stumbo.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Harold Stumbo.

Friends may call Friday, Jan. 5, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home. A service will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Richard Prater officiating. Burial will be in Newcastle Cemetery.
