FREDERICKTOWN — Judith Hollar, 61, of Salem Road, Fredericktown,
died Sunday, April 8, 2007, at her residence.
Arrangements are pending at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon.
Trevelyn Holtrey
MOUNT GILEAD — Trevelyn (Fraizer) Holtrey, 81, of Mount
Gilead died early Saturday morning, April 7, 2007, at Woodlawn Healthcare in
Mansfield.
She was born Jan. 26, 1926, to John and Imo (Gibbons) Fraizer. On Jan. 20, 1943, she married Ben Holtrey Jr. at the Mount Gilead Church of Christ parsonage and he preceded her in death. Throughout her lifetime Trevelyn worked as a librarian at the Chesterville Library. She was a member of the Waterford Church of Christ where she taught Sunday school and was a youth group leader for many years. She was also involved with the missions program and enjoyed making afghans in her free time for everyone that she knew.
Trevelyn is survived by four sons and their spouses, Ben and Delatha of Navarre, Fla., Larry and Carol, and Keith and Nancy, all of Fredericktown, and Leon and Sharon of Marengo; seven grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Trevelyn was preceded in death by eight brothers; and four sisters.
Friends may call today from 5 to 8 p.m. at Gompf Funeral Home in Cardington. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 10, at 11 a.m. at the Waterford Church of Christ. Pastors Don and Ray Linn will officiate and burial will follow in Bryn Zion Cemetery.

Jessie L. Mitchell
CENTERBURG — Jessie Lee (Hankins) Mitchell, 86, died
at her Centerburg residence on April 7, 2007, after a short illness.
She was born Aug. 17, 1920, to Jesse A. and Victoria (Beavers) Hankins in Canebrake, McDowell County, W.Va. She was a homemaker who loved to read, garden, quilt, sew, knit, crochet and research family history. Mrs. Mitchell was an organizing member of the Lucy Knox Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Mount Vernon, and an associate member of the Fort Maiden Springs Chapter, Tazewell, Va. She was a longtime member of the Owl Creek Harmony Primitive Baptist Church.
She is survived by daughters, Sandra (Lynn) McCann, Centerburg, and Victoria Hartley, Sunbury; son, John (Russetta) Mitchell, Aurora, Colo.; grandchildren, Lynn (Linda) McCann, Steve (Carla) McCann, Betsy McCann, Andrew (Jill) Hartley, Zachary Hartley, Amanda (Brandon) Mixon, Capt. USAF Olivia (Liam) Elliott and Vanessa Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Jessica and T.J. McCann; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd G. Mitchell; parents; and brothers, Thomas D., John Y., Wade O., Mack E., Arthur C., and Prentiss D. Hankins.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Johnson-Melick-Moreland Funeral Home, 49 W. Church St., Centerburg, where the funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Elders Darvin Edwards and Jack Griffith officiating. Interment will be at Eastview Cemetery, Centerburg.
