Donnabel Geckley
MARENGO — Donnabel Geckley, 75, of Marengo died Saturday,
April 14, 2007, at the Morrow County Hospital following a brief illness.
A lifelong resident of Morrow County, Donnabel was born April 25, 1931, the daughter of the late James and “Wave” (Linn) Stahl. On March 17, 1947, Donnabel married her loving husband of just over 60 years, Ray Geckley, in Greenup, Ky.
In addition to her husband, she will be dearly missed by her three daughters, Gay (Don) Barnhart, Cherri (Don) Burwell and Kim (Tom) Clark; one son, Scott Geckley; a daughter-in-law, Pam Geckley; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Donnabel was preceded in death by her son, Fred Geckley; three brothers; and one sister.
The family will greet friends today from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Snyder Funeral Home, Craven Chapel, 67 N. Main St., Mount Gilead, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Robert Ludwig officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Park in Lexington.

Lee E. Salyer
DELAWARE — Lee E. Salyer, 81, of Delaware died Friday,
April 13, 2007, at Riverside Hospital in Columbus.
She was born Aug. 29, 1925, in Paintsville, Ky., to the late Iva and Mary Alice (McKenzie) Seagraves. Lee was a member of the FOE Ladies Auxiliary Aerie No. 376 in Delaware and a former member of the Moose Lodge. She loved music, especially religious bluegrass, and enjoyed dancing.
She is survived by sons, Lovone L. “Jim” Salyer of Monticello, Minn., Rick (Leona) Salyer of Sunbury; daughters, Alta Addias of Fairborn, Carolyn (Ronald) Coleman of Orient; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty L. Blanton of Volga, Ky., Lissie J. Volkmar of Columbus and Doris G. (Myron) Franklin of Sunbury.
She was preceded in death by son, Gary Lee Salyer, on July 16, 1975; brothers, Edgel and Ledgie Seagraves.
Friends may call today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 3 at Ohio 61, Sunbury, where services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Carol Weiss officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunbury Memorial Park.

Jane Yocum
NEWARK — Jane Yocum, 82, of LPN Nursing Home, Newark, died
Saturday, April 14, 2007.
Formerly of Mount Vernon, she retired from Knox Community Hospital and Country Court Nursing Center in Mount Vernon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude; a son, Larry; parents, Bryant and Anna Fox; and brothers, John Fox, James Fox and Sherman Fox.
She is survived by her son, Harry (Beth) Yocum of Newark; grandson, Brian (Kris) Yocum of Newark; granddaughters, Marcy (Andy) Zamborsky of Avon and Lory Jones of Mayfield Heights; great-grandchildren, Margaret and Dean Yocum, and Cole and Ethan Zamborsky; brothers, Bryant (Sue) Fox and Charles (Linda) Fox, both of Mount Vernon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Johnson-Melick-Moreland Funeral Home, 49 W. Church St., Centerburg, where service will be Tuesday, April 17, at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Eastview Cemetery, Centerburg.
