UTICA — A funeral service for Wanda L. Councell, 73, of Utica will be held Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 10 a.m. at Law-Baker Funeral Home with Bruce Hissong officiating. Burial will follow in Fredonia Cemetery.

MOUNT VERNON — Harold Erow, 102, a resident of The Laurels of Mount Vernon, and formerly of Howard went to be with the Lord on Sunday morning at 6:30, Nov. 25, 2007, at the Care Center.
DANVILLE — Lucille (Heaton) Hess, 91, died at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 2007, at the Morning View Care Center at Danville after a short illness with complications from a variety of ailments.

Report of babies born at hospitals other than Knox Community Hospital must be submitted in writing. Include parents’ names, address, age, baby’s sex, and date and place of birth. If either parent is under the age of 18, the signature of a parent or guardian is necessary for each of the baby’s underage parents.
Announcements should include the signature, address and telephone number of the source. Announcements may be dropped off at 18 E. Vine St., or mailed to Mount Vernon News, P.O. Box 791, Mount Vernon 43050-0791.
