Crystal D. Maybrier
MOUNT VERNON — Crystal Dawn Maybrier, 25, of Mount Vernon went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, at the Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon.
Crystal was born July 28,1982, in Deland, Fla., and had been a resident of the Knox County area for several years. Crystal had attended the Faith Baptist Church and the Trinity Assembly of God Church, both in Mount Vernon.
Surviving are her mother and stepfather, Dixie and Roy Black of Danville; her father and his special friend, Tommy (Linda) Maybrier of Carlisle, Ky.; her sister, Dixie Jeanette Maybrier of Danville; stepbrothers, Gary Black and Robert (Angie) Black, both of Mount Vernon, and Carl Black of Perrysville; her maternal grandmother, Ruth Clay of Deland, Fla.; her niece and nephew, Sarah Maybrier and Luke Maybrier; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Crystal was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jeames Clay; and her paternal grandparents, W. Thomas and Opal Maybrier.
A service celebrating the life of Crystal Maybrier and giving glory to God will be Tuesday, Jan. 15, at the Trinity Assembly of God Church, 1051 Beech St., Mount Vernon, with Pastor Don Matolyak officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until time of the service at 7 p.m.
