NEW PHILADELPHIA -- Joseph J. Cheslock, 79, of New Philadelphia passed away Monday morning, Jan. 14, 2008, in Union Hospital at Dover with his family at this side.

DANVILLE -- Gary W. Didinger, 74, of Apple Valley passed away peacefully at Knox Community Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Monday, Jan. 14, 2008. Gary has gone home with his Lord and Savior after a courageous battle with cancer.

SPRINGFIELD -- Thomas C. Glass, 91, of Springfield, formerly of Galena, died Monday morning, Jan. 14, 2008, at the Springfield Masonic Community.

MOUNT VERNON -- Juanita (Dove) Hood, 98, born June 18,1909, in Shelbyville, Ill., was greeted by her Lord Jesus and escorted to Paradise on Jan. 10, 2008.

SPRINGFIELD -- Alleta Roxann Moran, 43, a resident of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly Oct. 5, 2007, a Community Hospital, Springfield.

MOUNT VERNON -- Michael Lee Shannon, 49, of Mount Vernon died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008, at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon.

CENTERBURG -- Mary Joanne Strawn, 82, of Centerburg, formerly of Gahanna, died Sunday morning, Jan. 13, 2008, at Country View of Sunbury.
