Brian E. Cunningham

FREDERICKTOWN — Brian E. Cunningham, 41, of Fredericktown died Friday, Jan. 18, 2008, at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland following an extended illness.

Brian was born Dec. 4, 1966, in Mount Vernon, graduated from Fredericktown High School in 1985 and had been employed at American Showa in Sunbury for several years. He was an avid NASCAR fan, most especially Jeff Gordon and loved to tinker and fix things.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Cindy (Hinger) Cunningham; his children, Darwin Cunningham and Briana Cunningham, both of the home; his mother, Burdetta (Wagner) Cunningham of Fredericktown; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Fran Cunningham of Sparta, Mo., Jack and Angela Cunningham of Mount Vernon, Jeffrey and Sandra Cunningham, and William and Karen Cunningham, all of Fredericktown; his sisters and brother-in-law, Jill Grogg and Julie and Gary O’Brien, all of Mount Vernon; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tom and Sharon Hinger of Fredericktown; and brothers-in-law, Tom Hinger, Craig (Shelly) Hinger and Mike (Penny) Hinger, all of Fredericktown.

Brian was preceded in death by his father, Darwin Cunningham.

Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, where funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor John Francis officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown.
