Kevin R. Rowley
ENGLEWOOD, Fla. — Kevin Richard Rowley, 47, of Englewood, Fla., passed away Jan. 21, 2008.
He was born May 5, 1960, in Mount Vernon and moved to this area in June 1976 from Gambier. Kevin was a former customer service representative for the Rowley Insurance Agency in Englewood. He was a former youth volunteer for the Englewood United Methodist Church, he also volunteered for numerous organizations including computer coach at the Englewood Library, volunteer for STAIR for the Community Presbyterian Church in Englewood; he was a Little League umpire in Englewood and a member of the National Honor Society. Kevin enjoyed working with the youth in his community.
Survivors include his parents, Rex and Donna Rowley of Englewood; sister, Amanda Horan of Englewood, Fla.; brothers, William Craig Rowley of North Port, Fla., and Michael Keith Rowley of Englewood; and three nephews and two nieces, whom he loved dearly.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the Doan Chapel of Englewood United Methodist Church. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements were made in Port Charlotte, Fla.
