Muriel H. Bainbridge

MOUNT VERNON — Muriel H. Bainbridge, 83, a resident of The Inn at HillenVale died Jan. 24, 2008.

She was born June 11, 1924, in Lyndhurst, N.J., to the late Cornelius Gerard and Zora (Adair) Honey. Mrs. Bainbridge enjoyed many years of being a librarian and teacher’s aide at Chagrin Falls and The Little Red School House, a swimming instructor, many outdoor activities and a loving mother of four boys.

She is survived by sons, Peter Bainbridge of Mount Vernon, Steve Bainbridge of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Lou Bainbridge of Denver, Colo.; grandchildren, Stephenie Bainbridge of Hawaii, Megan Bainbridge of Tampa, Fla., Danny Bainbridge of Jacksonville, Fla., Seth, Leah, Morgan, Keely and Stella Bainbridge of Mount Vernon; great-grandchildren, Lane and Gray Bainbridge of Florida; and Charlie, her dog.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Bainbridge; and her son, Jeff Bainbridge.

Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. Mrs. Bainbridge’s ashes will be spread in the mountains of Colorado with her son, Jeff.
