Annabel M. Lynch

COSHOCTON — Annabel Maxine (Norman) Lynch, 90, formerly of 701 Hill St., Roscoe, passed away Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, at the Coshocton County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Nov. 28, 1917, in Coshocton County to Carl and Ethel (Norman) Miller. Ann graduated from Keene High School in April 1935. She was a graduate of Coshocton Business School and went on to graduate from Bethesda School of Nursing in May 1943 as a licensed Registered Nurse. She worked as a county health nurse for Coshocton, private duty, and at CCMH as head nurse on the second floor E.C.F., third shift, and on the O.B. floor, third shift, until she retired. She was a member of the Ohio Eastern Star, and Keene United Methodist Church.

On May 29, 1943, she married William J. Lynch of Coshocton. They have four children, Courtney (Brenda) Lynch of West Lafayette, Cheryl (Christopher) Skelton of Coshocton, Marcia Weller of Roscoe and John Lynch of Wills Creek; a half sister, Bonnie Frazee of Millwood; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Lynch, who died on Sept. 13, 1983; and a half sister, Ruth Berry.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 6, at 2 p.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastors William Norman and Sharon Kirch officiating. Burial will be in South Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m., and until service time on Wednesday.
