Bill Workman
DANVILLE — William “Bill” Marchal Workman, 44, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008, at the home of his parents following a battle with cancer.
Bill was born May 9, 1961, in Mount Vernon to Leroy F. and Nina L. (Marchal) Workman. He was a class of 1981 graduate of Danville High School. He worked as a carpenter with his dad, and uncles, Blaine and Carl Workman, and for Fine Line Trim of Gambier. His greatest passion was hunting and fishing and spending time outdoors with his friends.
He is survived by his parents, Leroy and Nina of Danville; a sister, Karen Workman of Mount Vernon; aunts and uncles, Vickie (Roy) Wander of Westerville, Blaine (Shirley) Workman of Mount Vernon, Donna Workman of Danville, Eugene (Dorothy) Marchal and Glenn (Fran) Marchal of Mount Vernon; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles and Theresa Workman; his maternal grandparents, Eugene and Delma Marchal; and uncles, Lyman and Carl Workman.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb. 16, at 11 a.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Burial will be in Workman Cemetery. Visiting will be one hour prior to the service.
