Virginia Morrison
HOLLAND, Mich. — Virginia (Heagren) Morrison, 83, of Hamilton, Mich., died Monday morning in Resthaven Nursing Home.
She was born May 16, 1923, in Academia, Ohio, to Alfred and Evelyn Heagren, and lived most of her life in Fredericktown, with her late husband, Forest Morrison. She moved to Hamilton, Mich., in 1997 to be closer to her son, Steve, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Morrison was preceded in death by her husband, Forest, of Fredericktown; her son, Gary, of Hamilton; her daughter, Bonnie Hess, of Mount Vernon; three brothers, Robert, Donald and James Heagren; and one sister, Betty Jean Heagren.
She is survived by her son, Steve Morrison, daughter-in-law, Ruth Hammond, grandchildren, Paula Morrison and Stanley Morrison, both of Hamilton; grandson, Andy Morrison of Zeeland, Mich.; and grandson, John Morrison of Grand Rapids, Mich.; as well as great-grandchildren, Nicole Johnson of Hamilton and Eric Johnson of Florida.
No services are scheduled. Cremation is planned with burial in Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown.
