Margaret E. Nash

MOUNT VERNON — Margaret Elizabeth Nash, 92, of Mount Vernon died Feb. 15, 2008, at Knox Community Hospital.

She was born Nov. 12, 1915, and was the daughter of the late John “Jack” and Aline (Deither) Nash. Margaret retired from Cooper-Bessemer here in Mount Vernon. She enjoyed her hobby of knitting and was a longtime member of the Mulberry Street United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her sister-in-law, Betty L. Nash of Mount Vernon; nephew, R.ADM. Ret. David J. (Carolyn) Nash of Birmingham, Ala.; niece, Susan (Richard) Huggins of Fredericktown; great-nieces and nephews, Patricia Trigg of Pataskala, Jonathan (Leah) Nash and Nathan Nash of Washington, D.C.; and great-great-nieces, Katherine and Alexandra Trigg of Pataskala.

She was preceded in death by her brother, George D. Nash; and nephews, Michael Trigg and Tommy Nash (infant).

Family will receive friends Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mulberry Street United Methodist Church, where funeral services will follow calling hours at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Irwin Jennings officiating. Burial will be in Mound View Cemetery. The Dilley Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is handling the family’s arrangements.

Margaret was a kind and generous person, and will be sorely missed by family and friends.
