Robert ‘Bobby’ Frazier
MOUNT VERNON — Robert Walter David “Bobby” Frazier, 72, of Dogwood Terrace, Mount Vernon, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008, at Select Specialty Hospital in Milwaukee, Wis.
He was born June 29, 1935, in Dante, Va., to the late Ray and Agnes Frazier, and preceded by one brother, Buddy Frazier of Rockford, Ill. Bobby worked at Kelsey Hayes in Mount Vernon before his retirement. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and was active on the Deacon & Trustee Boards, and served as a Sunday school teacher and on many committees. He was also an active member of the Grand Lodge of Free Accepted Masons of Ohio, Mount Vernon and Mount Zion 9, The Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Ohio No. 26, Grand Council Royal & Select Masons of Ohio No. 76, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Clinton Commandery of Ohio No. 5, Aladdin Shriners Columbus and Baldwin Shrine Club Mount Vernon.
Bobby was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and he is survived by his wife, Charlotte; a daughter and husband, Pam and Bruce Browne of Thiensville, Wis.; a son and wife, Robbie and Diane Frazier of Dante, Va.; four grandchildren, Teather Fricano, Tyler Browne, Robert Frazier and Tracy Frazier; and two great-grandchildren, Parker Browne and Austin Fricano.
The service for Bobby will be held in Castlewood, Va., at the Castlewood Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Feb. 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. with a service to follow. The graveside service will be at Temple Hill Cemetery on Thursday, Feb. 21, at 11 a.m. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The Rev. Bobby Hendrix from First Baptist Church, Mount Vernon, will be officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Deacon Board at First Baptist Church, 303 S. Edgewood Road, Mount Vernon, OH 43050, in lieu of flowers.
