Carl J. Blanchard
MOUNT VERNON — Carl “Bucky” Joseph Blanchard, 27, died unexpectedly over the weekend at his residence.
He was born Sept. 12, 1980, in Mount Vernon to Patricia (Bradley) and Michael Blanchard. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his parents, Patricia (Fred) Bayles of Newark and Mike (Beth) Blanchard of Danville; his fiancee, Jessie Hoar of Mount Vernon; his children, Makyia, Donald J., and Macy Michelle; his sisters, Mary (Bill) Griffith, Brandy (Chris) Blanchard and Jessica (Ricky) Morton; his brothers, Josh (Alicia) Lawson and Jeremy (Shesi) Bradley; his grandparents, Ruth (Dominic) Carlo, Donald and Jeanette Bradley, Bill and Betty Blakely and Coleen Miller; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl Blanchard, Kitty M. Bradley and Daniel W. Bradley; and his stepfather, Donald J. Boeshart.
Calling hours will be Friday Feb. 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. A memorial service will follow, with the Rev. Jerry Moore officiating.
