A. Kathryn Fosnaught

DUBLIN — A. Kathryn Fosnaught, formerly of Mount Vernon, born July 4, 1916, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2008, while residing at Friendship Village of Dublin.

She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She experienced great joy from making quilts, knitting, cooking, spending summers in Northern Michigan, and keeping a warm and loving home. Her other greatest joy was her family.

She is survived by her son, Thomas Fosnaught (Anne) of Mount Vernon; and her daughter, Karen King, of Dublin. She also leaves her legacy to four grandchildren and their spouses, Michael and Cathy Fosnaught, Kristine and Steve Tier, Jennifer and Frank Robertson, and Scott and Janine King. The lights of her life were her nine great-grandchildren who gave her much laughter and joy, and they are Samuel and Jacob Fosnaught, Amanda, Nicholas and Megan Tier, Drew and Claire Robertson, and Amelia and Adam King.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; grandson, Jeffrey King; brother, Robert Wallace; and parents, Evia and William Wallace.

A memorial service will be held at the Gay Street Methodist Church, 18 N. Gay St. in Mount Vernon on Saturday, March 15, at noon with the Rev. Dr. David A. Baker officiating. All guests are invited to a reception after the service at the church. The Dilley Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is handling the family’s arrangements.
