MOUNT VERNON — Reva Armbruster, 73, of Mount Vernon, formerly of Waverly, died at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2008, in Mount Vernon.
She was born July 12, 1934, in Middletown, a daughter of the late Jay and Reva Hurst Boylan. On Sept. 11, 1955, she was united in marriage to Richard Armbruster who preceded her in death on July 14, 1999.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Emler of Mount Vernon and Rebecca Swesey of Waverly; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Virginia (Dominick) Semia of Florida.
Reva was retired from Pike Community Hospital in Waverly and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Waverly and Mount Vernon.
Graveside services will be Friday, March 21, at 3 p.m. at Waverly Evergreen Union Cemetery with Paul Spray officiating. Calling hours will not be observed. Arrangements are under the direction of the Botkin Funeral Home in Waverly; www.botkinfuneralservice.com.
