Mary K. Sarver

TOLEDO — Mary K. Sarver passed away March 17, 2008, at the home of her grandson, Dennis Williams, where she spent the final years of he life. She enjoyed the final days with her grandson as they had mutual interests in music, friends and life in general.

She lived at Abundant Life in Perrysburg for a number of years before going to live with her grandson. Her friends there at Abundant Life and also at Commodore Perry were very important and dear to her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Sarver; sons, Robert and Billy Vernon; and daughter, May Kathryn Vernon.

Mary’s greatest joys were family, friends and her love for country music. Nashville was her favorite place to visit and she was always up-to-date with all county music stars and happenings.

She is survived by sisters, Betty Galloway and Hazel Fox of Pleasant Hill, Ill; daughters, Ethel Shira of Perrysburg and Jeanne Schild of Texas; son, Ron Vernon of Sylvania; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be Thursday, March 20, for friends and family in Ashley Union Cemetery, Ashley. Rodman Neeper Funeral Home, Delaware, is handling the arrangements.
