Paul D. Stepp
MOUNT VERNON — Paul D. Stepp, 60, of Mount Vernon died Monday, March 24, 2008, at his residence.
Paul was born Aug. 16, 1947, at Darbydale, Ohio, and had lived in Columbus and Pataskala before moving to Mount Vernon in 1979. He was a U.S. Army, Vietnam War veteran, serving from 1965 to 1968.
Surviving are his mother, Jewell (Hysell) Stepp of Mount Vernon; his sisters, Ruth (Jean) Babbert and Lina Brock, both of Columbus; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Stepp Sr.; three brothers, Melvin Stepp, Homer Stepp Jr. and Jonathan Stepp; and a sister, Coraleen Murphy.
Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, where funeral service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. Burial with military honors by the Knox County Joint Veterans Council will follow at Mound View Cemetery.
