David A. Stygler
CENTER VILLAGE — David Allen Stygler, 66 1/2, of Center Village joined the heavenly angels on March 25, 2008, after an eight-week courageous battle with many medical dilemmas.
He was born premature along with his twin and they were considered miracle babies on July 10, 1941, in Columbus to the late David Lloyd and Dorothy (Tibbs) Stygler.
He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Laura (Garee) Stygler; son, David Stygler II of Alexandria; grandson, David Stygler III; brothers, Scott (Angie) of Groveport and Ted (Kim) of Gahanna; sisters, Sylvia Gosnell of Newark, Emily (Mike) Hatten of Clearwater, Fla., Sally Stygler of Newark and Melissa (Byron) Collins of Johnstown; sister-in-law, Charlotte Stygler; many nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives, friends and fellow Christians.
He was preceded by his twin brother, Donald, on Feb. 23, 2008.
Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 3 at Ohio 61, Sunbury, where services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ken Lowry officiating. Interment will follow in the Fancher Cemetery.
