Marian F. Pilotti

WORTHINGTON — Marian F. Pilotti, 82, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 25, 2008, surrounded by family after an extended illness.

She was born in Mount Vernon on July 19, 1925, and was a member of the Worthington Seventh-day Adventist Church. She was a dedicated hairdresser for nearly 40 years working in Mount Vernon and Columbus.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret “Gladys” Loveridge; siblings, Pearl Grimm, Ellen Reynolds, David, Jim and Dan Loveridge; half brother, Don Loveridge; half sisters, Ida Houbler, Adalaide McClusky and Ruth Barga; and former husband, Leo Pilotti.

She is survived by children, Tom (Billie) Pilotti and Jane (Dr. Craig) Wright; grandchildren, Adam (Michelle) Wright and Aaron (Jacquelyn) Wright; great-grandchildren, Austin, Alexander and Emily; siblings, John (Ardyth) Loveridge, Elizabeth Padgett and Ollie (Sam) Schwarzkopf; many loving nieces, nephews and cousins; along with many friends and co-workers at John of Holland and Friendship Village of Columbus.

A private family memorial service will be held at the Worthington Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor Loren Seibold officiating. Interment to take place at Liberty Chapel Cemetery in Mount Vernon. Arrangements entrusted to Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High St., Worthington.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, 995 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43205. Mrs. Pilotti’s family would like to share a special thank-you to the staff at HomeReach Hospice and to the nurses at the Infusion Center at Riverside Hospital for their kindness and care given to her during her illness.
