Pauline ‘Polly’ Hosler

HOWARD — Pauline J. “Polly” Hosler, 65, of Howard died Sunday, March 30, 2008, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

Polly was born Sept. 2, 1942, in Mansfield and was a 1960 graduate of Madison Comprehensive High School in Mansfield. She was recently employed as the branch manager for FirstMerit Bank on Coshocton Avenue in Mount Vernon.

Polly enjoyed going to car shows and cruise-ins. She was the most avid of Cleveland Browns fans, never losing faith in their Super Bowl hopes. Polly lived to love her friends and family, most especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, Gary Hosler, whom she married Feb. 25, 1973; her sons, Robert Hosler of Columbus and David (Angela) Hosler of Beverly Hills, Mich.; her grandchildren, Carson, Quinn and Christian; her mother, Kathleen “Toots” (Meadows) Ehrmantraut of Palm Springs, Calif.; her brothers, John Ehrmantraut of Palm Springs, Calif., and Jack (Jo) Ehrmantraut of West Salem, Ohio; and her sister, Sandra (Gilbert) Faircloth of Loudonville.

Polly was preceded in death by her father, John Frank Ehrmantraut.

Friends may call Wednesday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 E. High St., Mount Vernon. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Richard Snoke officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Perrysville.
