David L. Judson Sr.

LEXINGTON — David L. Judson Sr. of Lexington, formerly of Mount Vernon, passed away on his 64th birthday. He passed over into Glory on March 30, 2008, at his home with his family members all around him.

He was a member of the Four Square Church in Mount Vernon for 23 years and then the Mansfield Four Square Church for the past two years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Janice, of 35 years this coming June; his children, David Judson Jr., John (Angela) Judson, Amy Jo (Darren) Cydras, Teri (Clint) Brown, Mike (Debbie) Davis; one sister, Connie (Gary) Barber; four brothers, Chuck and Eugene Judson, Tom (Jane) Meek and Lemmy Hall; 17 beautiful grandchildren, Bobby, Chris, Mike, Michael, Timothy, Kenneth, Tiffany, David III, Destiny, Alicia, Ashley, Joseph, Jonathan, Tammy, Robert, Noah and Brendon; two great-grandchildren, Trinity and Brendon; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Judson; mothers, Esther Hall and Jean Meek; sister, Bonnie Judson; brothers, Jim Meek and Clyde Hall.

The family will receive friends today, April 1, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home, 212 N. Main St., Mount Vernon, where funeral service will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Pastor George Reece officiating. Burial will be in Campbell Cemetery.
