David Lawson
MOUNT VERNON — Dave Homer Eugene Lawson, 59, a Whispering Hills Care Center resident, died April 2, 2008, at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark.
He is survived by his mother, Goldie (Mullet) Lawson of Mount Vernon; a sister, Nancelee Smith of in Bluffton; along with a niece, two nephews and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Percy Eugene Lawson.
David was an avid sports fan and loved country music. David was handicapped in this life, but his family rejoices that he is now perfect in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 12, at 2:30 p.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville, with Clifford Beck officiating. Calling hours will precede the service from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in Workman Cemetery.
