FREDERICKTOWN — Arlene Campbell, 83, of Colony Drive, Fredericktown, passed away Friday, April 18, 2008, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 21, 1924, in Knox County to the late John Dudley and Ethel Maude (Oswalt) Smith. She was a member of the Pine Street Church of God in Mount Vernon.
She is survived by her loving family, two sons, Richard Campbell of Fredericktown, William Campbell of Lexington; three daughters, Kathy (Roger) Reed of Fredericktown, Nancy (Mike) Balensiefer of Zionsville, Ind., Roxanna (John) Hile of Richmond, Va.; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Richard Smith of Carmichael, Calif.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Campbell.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 21, from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 E. High St., Mount Vernon. Pastor Bill Fulda will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mound View Cemetery, Mount Vernon.
