Judith E. Dolick
COSHOCTON — Judith Ellen (Lemmons) Dolick, 62, of 50700 U.S. 36, Coshocton, passed away Friday, April 18, 2008, at the Coshocton Health and Rehabilitation Center after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born Feb. 26, 1946, in Coshocton County to Otis and Dorothy (McVey) Lemmons. She married Gary Dolick on Dec. 21, 1974. Judy was a member of the Canal Lewisville United Methodist Church and exemplified unconditional love, faith and devotion to her family and friends. Her children were her pride and joy, and she enjoyed watching them participate in sports and other activities. She was also exceptionally devoted to her students and the River View School District. Judy was a member of the River View Education Association and various committees at River View High School. She spent countless hours of intervention and tutoring to aid students in preparation for the Ohio Graduation Test. In addition, she was the teacher and coordinator of Novanet, which enabled at-risk students to fulfill their graduation requirements. Judy also enjoyed vacationing, long drives in the fall, and the Christmas holiday season.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Dolick of Coshocton; a daughter, Nicole Dolick of Atlanta, Ga.; a son, Troy Dolick of Coshocton; a brother, Mike (Sylvia) Lemmons of Danville; two nieces, Kim (Dave) Hawk of Danville and Michelle (Mike) Neitzelt of Danville; and three nephews, Mark (Gina) Dolick of New Concord, Jason Dolick of West Lafayette and Tyler Croft of Coshocton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Dorothy Lemmons.
Funeral service will be held Monday, April 21, at 11 a.m. at the Canal Lewisville United Methodist Church with Pastor Jane Betts and the Rev. Don Dolick officiating. Burial will follow in Canal Lewisville Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday, April 20, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw. Memorial contributions may be made to the Judith E.
