James E. Clark
GALENA — James E. Clark, 53, of Galena died unexpectedly Monday, May 12, 2008, on the family farm.
He was born on Aug. 28, 1954, in Columbus to the late Walter K. and Mabel (Gorton) Clark. A graduate of Big Walnut High School in 1972, he was a lifelong resident of Galena. He operated Rolling Meadows Farm; a farming operation began by his father, which included grain, cattle, hay, straw and firewood. Farming was his life, a vocation of hard work, which he truly enjoyed. Described as practical, good hearted and private in nature, he was an entrepreneur of various ventures.
He is survived by his brother, Jack (Rosemarie) Clark; nephews, Joseph and John; a host of cousins and extended family.
Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 3 at Ohio 61, Sunbury, where services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Brian Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Sunbury Memorial Park.
