Harley Sesser Jr.
CROTON — Harley Joseph “Sess, Uncle Sonny, Joey, Pappa” Sesser Jr., 64, of Croton passed away Saturday, June 7, 2008, in Columbus at Mount Carmel East Hospital surrounded by his family. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 11, at 10 a.m. at Crouse-Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, with Jack Debolt officiating. Internment to follow at Hartford Cemetery in Croton.
Harley was born on July 18, 1943, in Croton to the late Harley and Kate (Lovell) Sesser. He retired after many years as a truck driver. He loved his family, sports, fishing, hunting, horse racing and bluegrass music.
Harley is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Cathy Sesser; daughters, Jody (Mike) Allen of Croton, Tammy Sesser (Roger Frazee) of Mount Vernon, and Wendy Sesser and Melissa Sesser, both of Croton; grandchildren, Randi (Eddie) Fairall of Centerburg, Chase, Savannah, Colton and Shelbi Frazee of Mount Vernon and Karson Sesser of Croton; great-granddaughters, Chesnee and Mackenlee Fairall; sisters, Dolores (Roger) Priest and Margaret (Paul) Priest, both of Johnstown; along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 10, from 4 to 8 p.m.
