Sandra Asercion
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Sandra Lee Asercion, 54, passed away June 17, 2008, surrounded by her family.
She was born to the late Robert and Doris Burns in Florence, Ariz. Sandra met her husband while attending Columbia Union College, where she attained a B.S. in Social Work. After living in Hinsdale, Ill., for three years, the happy couple moved to Mount Vernon, Ohio, where their sons were born and remained there for 25 years. Having lived in Virginia Beach for five years, Sandra has touched many lives; for those who knew her, loved her.
Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Emmanuel; her sons, Robert and Chad; her mother and father-in-law, Felicidad and Apolinario; her many sisters and brothers-in law, nieces, nephews and loving cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, June 22, at 4 p.m. at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Sandra loved the Lord and her devoted family. It was her wish for her extended family and friends to remain faithful in order to join her in heaven.
