Lynda L. Huffman

MOUNT VERNON — Lynda L. Huffman, 42, of Mount Vernon died June 21, 2008, at The Ohio State University Hospital as a result of an automobile accident last week.

She was born April 9, 1966, in Mount Vernon to Jack and Annabelle (Robertson) Lonzo. Lynda will be remembered as a caring person who could always make you laugh.

She is survived by her three children, Tim Huffman of Mount Vernon, Zachary Rose of San Leon, Texas, and Stephanie Huffman of Mount Vernon; her mother, Annabelle Lonzo of Mount Vernon; sisters, Janice (Dan) Hubbell of Mount Vernon, Laura (James) Allenbaugh of Mount Vernon and Jill (James) Taylor of Encinitas, Calif.; special friend, Phil Griffith, and his son, Wyatt; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Lonzo, in 1994.

Friends may call Wednesday, June 25, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Mulberry Street United Methodist Church, 205 N. Mulberry St., Mount Vernon. A memorial service will begin at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Bill Norman officiating. A private burial will take place in Mound View Cemetery at a later date. The Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home in Mount Vernon is handling the funeral arrangements for the Huffman family.
