Richard Wolfgang
BELLVILLE — Richard E. “Dick” Wolfgang, 74, of Bellville died Sunday, July 13, 2008, in Mifflin Care Center.
He was born Oct. 18, 1933, in Butler to Albert L. and Lula (Tucker) Wolfgang. A lifelong area resident, Dick worked at Cooper-Bessmer in Mount Vernon and F&W Body Shop before opening his own body shop, W&W Body Shop in Mansfield.
He is survived by a son, Charles (Jodi) Wolfgang of Bellville; a daughter, Colleen (Jeff) Gatton of Butler; four grandchildren; two great-grandsons; three sisters, Eileen Dickson, Doris Ball and Shirley Dunn; two brothers, Earl Wolfgang and Dwight Wolfgang; two sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, AnnaMae (Hamner) Wolfgang; and four brothers Harold, Albert, Charles and William Wolfgang.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. Pastor Christopher Thomas will officiate. Burial will follow in Zion (Four Corners) Cemetery near Butler.
