Anthony J. Wahl
UTICA — A funeral liturgy for Anthony J. “Tony” Wahl, 62, of Utica will be Saturday, Aug. 16, at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Nativity Catholic Church, 126 N. Main St., Utica, with the Rev. Stephen Metzger as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Newark.
Tony died Aug. 13, 2008, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. He was born Aug. 31, 1945, in Newark to the late Julius J. and Virginia A. (Way) Wahl. He was the former owner of Wahl Motor Sales, Utica. Tony was a member of the Ford 300 Club and enjoyed drag racing.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Tawnya and Buck Severt of Newark, Tascha and Mark Clark Jr. of Dresden; grandchildren, Austin Severt, Evan Severt, Mackenzie Clark, Mark Clark III; sister and brother-in-law, Terry and Dick Scovell of Johnstown; two nieces, one nephew; and his furry friends, Rocky, Rosie and Simeron.
Friends may call today, Aug. 15, from 6 to 8 p.m., and Saturday, Aug. 16, from 10 to 11 a.m., at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N Main St., Utica.
